saddle up

No, it's not a new bag, but while spring cleaning I rediscovered it at the back of my wardrobe.
I couldn't resist - it's literally a saddle bag.
How deliciously nineties Cowgirl Barbie.

Tiered crochet skirt - Dynamite

Seems like I must be in a nautical state of mind this week...

Well, same place, same weather.
Finals end this week. Thank God. Then Freedom!
Normally I'd say it's time to break out the sundresses soon, but I wore mine all winter.

Some news though:
I've recently (finally!) joined both Chictopia and Lookbook, so please check me out!
I'll make an effort to check yours out too!

Outfit:
Seersucker dress - Dynamite
Cat crossbody bag - Asos
Platform mary janes - Material Girl

Chain bracelet - homemade

if you were a sailboat...

First photos of my new Marc by Marc Jacobs bag.
You just can't go wrong with blue and white.
Anyone fancy a picnic?
(This is the unconscious effect of gingham on me).
In other news, where did the spring weather go?

Outfit:
Gingham satchel - Marc by Marc Jacobs (available here)
Nautical blouse - Forever 21
Blue bow heels - Kurt Geiger
Skirt - Urban Renewal (old)

easter babbit

 Bunnies and eggies!
Broke the bank with my dollar-store decorations, ha ha.
Twenty-two, and I just set up an Easter egg hunt, like a ninja.
Easter ninja.

peep!

Shameless really.
Any excuse for glitter.
However, I did buy the Easter decorations first before getting the idea for this post.

the secret garden

My outfit for what would turn out to be the worst ballet I've ever seen.
I haven't read the book, but I was inspired by the 90's film,
which is one of my favourite movies from my childhood.
I had fun with this outfit, and was complimented on it, which made the evening a little brighter.

Outfit:
Vintage tea dress - The Patch (store)
Cardi - Dynamite
Floral heels - Forever 21 (last year)
Crewelwork handbag - thrifted
Crinoline - thrifted
