I've got a new haircut - long, with blunt bangs!

Not that you can really tell from the arty photos.

I'm so excited, I don't think I've had bangs like this since I was four.

I've been recently trying to get back into fashion collage, partly just to tackle the mounting piles of paper and magazines that block proper access to my room.

But also, I really lack the patience for drawing.

This particular collage is one I did a few weeks ago, from my Silhouette Series.

I came across this old photo the other day, and couldn't believe I'd forgotten about this day.

Was this Grade 8? I'm so young here!

I was so into chunky knitwear then, especially Fair Isle, and still am.

This is the perfect pic for today's post as Cowichan and Fair Isle knits are big this fall/winter.

As the weather gets colder, bundle yourself up in a chunky sweater for an effortless look.

Other knit accessories such as scarves, boots, and handbags are another way to incorporate a little nordic-chic into your look.

The three year-old fairy princess in me is coveting them.

And the nineteen year-old me really wants them too.
